Hope On The Streets For Children Trainer

Do you have a heart for hurting children? Hope on the Streets for Children (HSC) trains people to understand and be empowered to help street and vulnerable children. HSC is looking for people to train and facilitate others who will establish projects to help children leave the streets and prevent others from living on the streets. We mobilize the church to do this.
2-3 Years
Full Time
As soon as possible
HSC was started at the OM base in Kabwe, Zambia in 2015. Since then, we have trained in 6 African countries and hundreds of people from churches in Africa have attended our courses. We also had the opportunity to train policemen from the local police department. We work with or partner with different ministries that work with street children and the vulnerable children throughout Africa.
Apart from our classes here in Zambia, normally we would travel and train to different African countries, however, due to the current pandemic, we have begun online courses for our curriculum of trauma and crisis care. We need people who are counselors, social workers or who are willing to be trained with our curriculum to become trainers in our curriculum.

We are looking for someone with a passionate heart for street and vulnerable children; No previous teaching experience required, but a willingness to learn; Able to communicate well in English; Able to use or willing to learn to use Teams, Microsoft Streams, and YouTube,  for online teaching; Willing to work with  people of different cultures

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
