Member: Victims of Trafficking Team

OM in Belgium is looking for people with compassion and strong will to work among victims of trafficking, to advocate at the European and national level for better laws and more helpful treatment by the authorities, and to gently share the gospel through a consistent, loving lifestyle. This role is about building long-term relationships with women whose relationships are exclusively transactional and ephemeral.
As long as possible
Full Time
As soon as possible
You are filled with compassion for victims of human trafficking. But you know that compassion on its own is not enough. You know that there are no quick fixes, and you will have to invest yourself consistently in the lives of people who are at the same time incredibly vulnerable, but also hardened and cynical.

This role is about two things: attitude, and action. While traffickers see their victims as a financial asset, you are ready to value them with the value that Christ placed on them. You will translate this into love and faithfulness over a long period of time.

Working with one of our partner organisations, you will be directly involved in redemptive, restorative ministry.

Everyone who is new to OM and has not been part of a similar programme in another organisation will spend their first year as part of our Year Programme, which will include working in their chosen ministry. This includes Bible training, language learning, and introduction to missions life and many opportunities to develop new skills and talents.

Visa: EU
Health: Good physical health
Willingness to raise personal support

Live opportunities are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
