In Bangladesh, H* came to faith a number of years ago and has been slowly reaching out to his family and neighbours, which has not been easy. Recently he built himself a new home, and decided that this was a good opportunity to share more of his faith with his close friends. On the day his family moved into their house, he held a special prayer meeting. This was a bold decision in a religious area. There are many other families like his who continue to seek creative and appropriate ways to share their faith.

In Pakistan, preparations are in the final gear for this year’s summer outreach camps, which take place from 11 to 24 June: Men’s camp, and from 7 to 22 July: Women’s camp. Thirty cities are lined up, and registration for the Men’s camp is almost complete with at least 110 young men and women expected to participate in our camps.

The Women’s Team will be visiting groups and making friendships. The women also want to work with individual children and women, and use story telling as a means of sharing God’s truths. “We are working with illiterate people and as I was thinking of ways to develop their interest to understand the Word of God, I realised that this way will give glory to Him.”

Whilst going door to door recently, a Women’s Team met a woman who was very sick. The team told her that Jesus loves to heal the sick and has the power to heal. The woman heard that Jesus also has the power to forgive sins, and decided to put her trust in Him. Pray she will learn to trust Him for the rest of her life.

A brother shared about God’s love with a student taking his Masters in religious studies. They discussed in great depth fundamental issues. He showed great interest and asked for more information.

The team met a security guard who had lost his wife to black magic, and was now bringing up his two sons himself. The team encouraged him that he could trust in God’s Son, and gave him literature.

Please pray for the teams over the next two months as they share with people in Pakistan and Bangladesh
