Call of Hope Outreach recently took place in London, with many encouraging experiences, a time to learn boldness as literature was distributed, a time to grow closer to God, join Him in His work, and realise that He is in control of every situation.

During the Outreach, participants from 10 countries shared the Truth with people from Europe, North Africa, Middle East and Asia. In the midst of rain, sun and more rain, they distributed over 6,000 portions of Gospel literature, Jesus films, New Testaments and Gospel DVDs. They also met 9 new friends that are interested in dialoguing more!

Participants commented:

“In the past I have thought my life was a witness, however I realise I must be bold in challenging people to consider their lives and following Christ. I realise God’s Word is the truth and is essential to support conversations with people and challenge them to consider following Christ as their Lord and Saviour. I have greater compassion for people to hear the Gospel – that is God’s will for me.”
Jane, Australia

“We made a friend from Yemen, who has moved to London two months ago. We met her at Hyde Park and amazingly we were able to meet up with her at a café a few days later and talk more in-depth. The conversation was beautiful and real. We felt the Holy Spirit’s presence as we talked about our beliefs and the beauty of God’s Word. We gave her a New Testament and we plan to meet up again to talk about it.”
Ellie, United States / Sarah, United States

“I learned quiet submission and to pray more.”
SaRang, South Korea

“Life needs to slow down and time spent talking to people about life and death and the hope that they can have matters.”
Aaron, United States/United Kingdom

“I learned that meaningful conversations come unexpectedly when you are intentionally and prayerfully out on the street.”
Ellie, United States

“We were scheduled to do evangelism in one area, but bad weather meant we had to go elsewhere. After a while the rain stopped and we had a great time with people. We had prayed that God would have us go where He wanted us to be. Because of the move I met a man and his wife that I had talked to last week for a long time. I had given them a Jesus DVD in his mother tongue. He told me that they both had watched the film and really enjoyed it. He said there was just something about the words Jesus spoke that had a real impact on him.”
Aaron, United States/United Kingdom

“Going out in the streets stretched me beyond my comfort zone, but it has made me more confident. It is much easier once the first contact is made”.
Heinz, Netherlands

“I have decided to make Christ the centre of my everyday life; every thought, conversation and deed. I want to boldly love Christ and stand for Christ for the world to see. I never, ever, ever want to be the same again.”
Christina, United States
