We will be helping the church in Castres do door to door ministry, and promoting the end of the week evangelism event. We will also be running children's clubs throughout the week.

We will encourage some village churches in their effort to establish a regular Sunday school after last evangelistic summer camps. We will visit houses for children with special needs and possibly some other institutions in the Vinnitsa region, bringing gifts for the children and doing Christian programs for them, using stories, songs, drama, games, sports, puppets and other tools.

Imagine walking down a street in Pakistan in the daytime. All the shop keepers are local people. You smell the spices. You look at the local produce. The women in the street are covered in veils. This is not Lahore. You are in an area of Birmingham in England where the population is 99 % Muslim. Come and reach out to people who were born, have grown up and live in a Muslim neighbourhood. How can they hear the Gospel unless someone comes to them?

Starting with our "Toolkit" course, you will learn the essential skills to be able to share the Gospel confidently, work on a multi-cultural team and develop in your prayer life and personal walk with God. An outdoor adventure week is part of the team building and leadership development training. Having learnt the basics, you will then join an international team working in close partnership with a church. You will impact adults, youth and children's lives through your outreach. As you reach out to the community, you will establish friendships and have many opportunities to share your faith in many different ways. You will carry on receiving training as you develop in your ministry

You will have English lessons 5 days a week, for a total of 15-20 hours a week. Lessons are taught by qualified English teachers who will help you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. You will also work on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. You will practise your English as you talk to local people in the community and in your church ministry. It is centered on the Muslim mindset and how to share the Gospel in a culturally sensitive way! It also includes International Team Life, in which you will have opportunities to cook, clean, pray and worship together! All teams will be living in CHURCHES, which means the accommodation won’t be five stars! OM is based on a ‘learn by doing’ process and you will get plenty of ‘street time’ to put into practice all you have learned. You could do anything from book-tables, to street work, to door-to-door, to video distribution, to the famous ‘Speakers Corner’ debate! You will find yourself doing things you never thought you could. Our first priority is to the church plants that we have in London; the Turkish/English church in North London, and the Arabic/English church in Central London. Our strategy and evangelism is based around these church plants, and is the reason for much of what we do.

You will be working with an international team alongside several churches and local ministries reaching out with the love of God and the message of the Gospel in and around Birmingham area.

For six months you will be a vital part of a small team whose united purpose is to make Christ known across Europe. Following from a time of training and team building in Birmingham UK, you will travel to European nations in a Transit van. Be prepared for long journeys together in a Transit van which will become a valued member of your team… In each country you will experience new cultures and form new relationships as you work alongside churches and OM teams.
