The “Kieler Woche” is the world’s largest sailing event as well as Europe’s largest summer festival. Each year during “Kieler Woche” 3 million people visit the city of Kiel to enjoy the mixture of a sporting event and summer festival. The Kieler Woche attracts visitors not only from Germany but also from many other European Nations.
The programme starts with an outreach orientation - a number of seminars and workshops. We will then form different teams according to gifts and interests. Each team will in their way communicate the Gospel to the people around them. There will be teams focusing on sports, kids, music/ creative arts, community service, literature distribution and many more. The programme will run bi-lingual in German and in English. Participant ProfileParticipants should be committed Christians who have a desire to share about God's love. Previous evangelism experience is not required. Minimum age for individuals is 17 years. Participants must be able to speak conversational German or English. Accommodation: Simple accommodation will be arranged. Food: Will be arranged Travel: Participants are responsible for organizing and paying for their own travel to the outreach location (Kiel). Health: Participants should arrange own personal medical insurance to cover the period of the campaign. Visa: No special requirements but please, check for your own country if a visa is needed to come to Germany.
