The 1st/2nd Engineering Officer is accountable to the Chief Engineering Officer and will also be required to conduct efficient watch in the machinery spaces whilst at sea and duty watches in port. A Chief Engineer is required for the Logos Hope, either on a long term basis (preferred) or rotation basis AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please enquire at the Ships Head Office for further information on dates and rotation options. The Chief Engineering Officer is responsible to the Master for the safe and efficient running of all the ships machinery and technical systems, excluding those items of navigational and fire-fighting equipment, which come under the Deck Department.

The teachers are especially appreciated as their service allows many key workers to serve on board. Together with a helper you assemble, weld and install pipe systems and related materialssuch as pipe supports, transition sleeves, fittings and auxiliary equipment.
