We are seeking a person with a gift for writing and an enthusiasm for sharing the story of God's work in Greece and the world. Responsibilities will include:
1. Producing a regular Newsletter for international distribution and helping to develop a newsletter that can encourage the Greeks to be involved in prayer and world mission.    2. Updating and maintaining website (Joomla experience would be very useful) and posting new stories regularly

Arts ministry: The ancient Greeks used the arts to communicate important messages. Why should we not do the same, sharing the message of the gospel through the creative arts, music, drama, paintings etc?
This ministry has high development potential in Greece and we are open for people who can be our art pioneers, as the work has not yet been established, although we have some contacts with some Greek Christian artists.
We are not only thinking about producing art but also encouraging and discipling believers to use the arts in communicating the Gospel.

Coordinator of Short Term Teams, Church Teams, and other Mission outreaches.  You will be coordinating the outreaches which are done in Greece (like Global Challenge and Transform) as well as possible trips organized from Greece, through which we want to expose the Greek Church - and especially the young people - to world mission, both nearby as well as far away.

If you enjoy sports, youth and sharing the gospel, you will love participating in OM Greece’s sports ministry! We hope to work with local churches to help them develop a sports ministry that will reach out into their communities (several churches have started community centres mostly in deprived areas of the city.  We could also see church plant efforts being supported by a sports person. In Greece soccer, basketball and volleyball are very popular, but there is generally a great interest in sports

Cooperating with churches in Greece to support their youth ministry. Can include youth clubs, summer clubs, outreaches, mercy ministries, community involvement, helping churches develop new methods for youth ministry seeking to facilitate more missional lives. Discipling/mentoring youth, as well as teaching others how to do this, while developing young leaders and discovering untapped potential of church youth is to be expected.

American football is a rapidly growing sport in Hungary. Over the last 7 years 36 teams have been started. There is a desperate need for coaches who can help. The Hungarian American Football Federation has asked OM Hungary Sports Ministry to find coaches. This coaching position is an excellent opportunity to share your faith and life with future leaders of Hungary. Coach in a local club and minister with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through this growing sport.
Coaching experience is helpful with this position. Besides coaching, you can lead English Bible studies for the players, teach football in the local schools, and help the local church planter with other ministries you enjoy. Training is offered in language and culture.

Baseball is a growing sport in Hungary, but still in the development stages. Every club would love to have an experienced player playing for them, and many church planters are interested in using sports ministry.
You will play on the local mens fast pitch baseball team and help them with their youth baseball program. All of your ministry will be in partnership with a local church planter to build meaningful relationships through baseball. You will also have the opportunity to help in sports camps and with the training of Hungarian National team players.

A mission outreach opportunity based in Hungary but covering many different  Central/Eastern European Countries. Join a mobile outreach bus, help with selling and distributing literature, get involved in creative ministries such as drama, music, painting, etc. or in evangelism or working in a street cafe, work in a mobile movie theater: Joining the Bus4life ministry gives you the opportunity to do all of this. In an adapted former library bus you will travel to different Central/Eastern European Countries, ministering to children and young people, families and older people, people from all walks of life. If you can occasionally skip a shower and sleep a night or 2 on the floor, you can have this hands-on experience of mission work.

Hungary has many opportunities to be involved in church planting. All church planting within OM Hungary takes place under the leadership of a local Hungarian church and working along side a Hungarian church planter.

English teachers are needed in Hungary!

No coaching experience is required with this position.
You will also have the opportunity to help camps and training of Hungarian National team players.

The Food Services Coordinator will work with the Director of Conferences and Events to plan and provide meals for special events, conferences held on the OM Ireland property.  This would include cooking for or finding hired help to cook for individual guests and larger groups of Christian workers attending conferences, meetings or training sessions.

OM Ireland’s Immersion programme is designed to immerse its participants in God’s word, in ministry, and in Irish Culture.  Immersion consists of teaching and training in a classroom environment at OM Ireland’s ministry headquarters, Lacken House, where participants will be instructed in a wide range of topics including evangelism, Bible study, apologetics, spiritual gifts, and much more!  The majority of the Immersion experience will occur away from Lacken House where Immersion teams will live and serve in villages and towns with partner churches throughout Ireland, doing various types of ministries including organising kids clubs, working in Christian book stores, being involved in sports ministry, organising women’s bible studies, leading a youth group and more.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be in charge of the up keep and maintenance of the OM Ireland property including all buildings and grounds.  The five acre property consists of the Main House with 5 guest rooms, 3 Chalets, and a 2-story Office Block. The Short Term (Global Challenge) Co-ordinator will be organising and helping with the running of short term outreach events in Ireland. They must be able to work with a wide range of churches and in a very multicultural community and team.

At the moment, we have up to 150 people joining us each year for short-term outreach programmes and we see great potential for growth in this area.

We are looking for a Vehicle Fleet Coordinator to look after our fleet of 20 plus vehicles. You will be responsible for the regular maintenance of the fleet as well as any associated paper work (such as insurances, and scheduling repairs). If you have mechanic experience, have practical and organizational skills, and pleasant and effective people skills, we would love for you to be part of our team.

The Forterocca Business Manager is responsible for the management of the conference center with commercial accountability for planning, organizing and directing all center services including:

We are looking for a person to help Swedish people find their fit in world missions by providing administrative support in a busy personnel department.  If you like working with people, are comfortable with communication by phone, email and social media, then we would love to talk to you about serving with OM Sweden.

You are needed to support the International Office to take care of its workers, comply with local and international employment laws, organise and maintain the personnel department tasks. You will have an office team of workers coming from different countries and you will communicate/coordinate with field workers and partner organisations in different countries on personnel matters. Our Fundraiser and Project Manager needs you at our international office as a structured yet flexible assistant in fundraising, project management as well as administrative tasks. You will gather, write, evaluate and efficiently manage information about relief and community development projects in different countries of the world, so company office and field workers get documents and information they need on time, and donors including governments and institutions are well updated of the progress of the projects.

Newlife, a ministry team within OM Lifehope, has been developed with the goal of reaching smaller ethnic groups in the context of urban Great Britain. We are looking for people to minister specifically to the Eritrean immigrants that have settled in Birmingham and need the gospel.

Do you have a passion to share God’s love in a local community through sports? Do you have a heart for Muslim people and youth? Birmingham is known for its multi ethnic population. OM Lifehope has an established community development project where more than 90% of the people are Muslim. The majority of them are from Pakistani background and some from Africa and Bangladesh. Many of them have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. You can join the team to see a Muslim community reached with the Good News of Jesus.

OM Lifehope is seeking an experienced Football coach to work with Muslim boys. We are already working with the youth through regular youth clubs. You will have an opportunity to coach boys, build relationships with them and share the Good News with them. You will also be able to organize tournaments and take teams to attend local tournaments.

Can you spare 6 to 24 months to find out what God can do in and through your life as you help impact the Muslim community of London? We will train you and equip you to work with our long term team in the area. You will participate in one of our church plants and assist in outreach and service to the community.

You will grow spiritually and in Biblical and missions understanding through our discipleship training. You will experience international team living and will learn from the cultures and backgrounds of your teammates. You will learn about Islam and the culture and history of the Middle East. OM's International Communications Department is in need of a Graphic Artist. This role will require the conceptualisation and production of materials to effectively communicate OM's marketing and communications strategies using a wide range of media - through web, print, and multimedia. Familiarity with Adobe software is strongly encouraged, but not a requirement

We need one person to help us maintain the beautiful grounds around the site at the UK National office in Shropshire, and to work on external projects around the buildings.  This will involve grass maintenance, gardening and large shrubbery maintenance.
Supervision will be provided by our maintenance manager.  This is a part time role;  someone with DIY skills who is  interested in serving full-time could use the rest of their time helping the maintenance dept.

We need an enthusiastic person to manage our IT systems.  You will help with computer problems and maintain our email and file server. Although previous experience in IT is a big advantage, you will be trained on-the-job and supported by OM’s international technical support team. OM UK's National Headquarters team, based in Shropshire, England, represents OM's worldwide (in over 100 countries) work to the UK church and helps to resource that work with finance and people. We serve about 400 OM UK workers serving in the UK and overseas. 
The Systems Administrator’s role is to maintain and develop the IT facilities for the busy national office and those working in regional offices.

Do you enjoy writing stories? Do you want to share what God is doing through your stories? Then the role of Journalist at our Training Centre is for you.  We are looking for a creative writer to produce regular articles about our different ministries at Lifehope.  You will visit our teams, interview team members and local pastors and produce short stories and reports for the web and our publications.

You will feature the work of our current five community outreach teams, some of our specialised teams such as Kids 'n' Things and our Chinese team, our training programmes and our other vital support ministries. You will also have the opportunity to join some of our short-term missions in order to interview some of our short-term participants and write the final report at the end of the mission.

Newlife, a ministry team within OM Lifehope, has been developed with the goal of reaching smaller ethnic groups in the context of urban Great Britain. We are looking for people to minister specifically to the Kurdish immigrants that have settled in Birmingham and need the gospel.

OM's standard server (file/print/mail) operating system is an enhanced version of Linux based on CentOS 5.  Our version includes a simple to use menuing system to aid system administration tasks. Developers are required to take advantage of Linux improvements and to add further functionality to our standard server operating system. A tester is required to assist in the verification of new functionality and bug fixes. It would be possible to perform this role from a remote location.

The online learning developer will work with the other training professionals in the department to extend the e-learning capacity to meet OM needs. Currently, an online learning management tool (Moodle) is being used, and it is expected that other e-learning tools will be implemented in the future.

As Community Manager for our Open Source Software Project "OpenPetra" (www.openpetra.org) your task would be to create and foster a culture in which people are encouraged to participate and where they realize that their contributions can make a real difference and can help other users. OpenPetra will eventually replace OM's current administrative software.

Do you enjoy working in a people-focused office environment? Join our personnel team and help out with administration! Based at our training centre, you will work in a team responsible for people joining our field, their member care and preparing them for re-entry at the end of their commitment.  You will be involved in communication, data entry, updating lists, arranging interviews and other personnel administrative tasks.

You will be part of OM Lifehope's international community, living and
working alongside people from at least 25 different nationalities.    You will attend our daily devotional times every morning and our weekly
prayer nights every Thursday. At least once a week, you will also be able to take part in an outreach activity of your choice, maybe help out at a kids' club, youth meeting or one of our local community projects.

We are a vibrant, growing, dynamic OM field seeking a motivated and focused leader-manager for our personnel and member care team. The heartbeats of our field are evangelism, discipleship and training. You will be releasing and helping others on the frontline of mission, by managing people, applications, visas, interviews, appraisals, re-entry, record keeping, policy and procedures.

The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK.  We currently have regional co-ordinators representing us in only five regions – there is scope for another half a dozen!    The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.

You will have opportunity to work with immigrants and help them in finding work, filling out official papers and other practical needs they have. Developers are needed to work on OpenPetra, an Open Source Software Project initiated by OM (www.openpetra.org). It will eventually replace OM's current in-house software package, Petra, which is used in over 90 locations worldwide and is vital for the stability and upkeep of OM's administration records and financial systems.

If you have a background in coaching sport and would like to use the opportunity of the 2012 Olympics to reach young people in the UK with the love of Jesus, this job is a fit for you!  You will have the chance to lead sports camps during the Olympics season, mentoring and discipling youth as you integrate spiritual truths with the excitement of sports.

This is an opportunity to serve as a System Administrator in OM's International Co-ordinating Team (ICT).  The role is to maintain and develop the IT facilities for a busy International office including a number of remote workers.  There are many opportunities to investigate new technologies and software that can be used internationally in OM.  ICT supports and co-ordinates OM's work in about 100 countries and the System Administrator role is vital for this team to be as effective as possible.

At the International Coordinating Team (ICT) we have about 70 members of staff, including a number of families. We believe that each person is an important part of the team. To facilitate the ministry we have four office buildings on two different sites, situated 6 miles apart. The purpose of the position is
to provide services in helping the ICT team members to be effective in their ministry, by providing adequate housing, encourage fellowship and team unity, provide pastoral care and help with areas of office work.

The OM UK National office team are looking for an administrator to look after team personnel-related issues.  The team consists of 75-80 people, most based at the OM UK national office in Shropshire. Key responsibilities:

• liasing with other OM offices re possible recruits to OM UK
• organising induction of new members
• ensuring hospitality is provided for visitors
• keeping training and other personnel-related records up-to-date
• assisting the team leader and assistant team leader with day-to-day administrative duties

OM's International Communications Department is in need of Web Designers. This role will require the production of web designs to reflect OM's unique character and multinational culture.
