Yesterday the Northern team distributed 72 food packs to people in Dir city, arriving over a make shift bridge; built after the floods washed the bridge away. The District Coordination Officer shared “food, tents and medicines are immediately needed to meet urgent needs. I appreciate the efforts of Christian people, you always step in first to help in time need and serve without any greed.”  The destruction is unbelievable; relief workers are facing problems to reach the areas and people are fighting for their survival.

Pray for strength for the team to reach those areas where people are starving and dying.

Pakistan Flood

The Southern team supplied meals to over 200 families in the Sindh area and cooked meals for 90 families unable to cook. The Medical team treated 145 patients. The team reports, “Our vehicle broke down because of terrible road conditions, thank God it is fixed and from tomorrow we will work with full capacity. The temperature in Sukkur is 40˚ C and very humid. Cooking, packing and distribution is a huge challenge; please pray for health, strength and safety of our teams. Please pray that God will help people to get comfort and open new doors for us.”

The team is happy for people to join them – particularly Doctors and Nurses. If you would like more information please contact 03 9898 9348 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
