Richard Beaumont - Chairman

Richard Originally from New Zealand, Richard & Julie Beaumont moved to Melbourne in 1978, joining OM for a 'two-year stint' on the Logos.  Eighteen years later, which included nine years as Australian National Director, Richard left OM to re-join the commercial world.

Richard leads a small group in the local church, is a Director of a Foundation called Mission Enterprises and is Chairman of the OM Board.

Richard’s vision is to support missions world-wide, he seeks to support and encourage the work of Operation Mobilisation and wants to ensure that the Christian Faith remains relevant in a rapidly-changing culture.

Richard has been married to Julie for 28 years and they have 2 sons, Matt & Philip.

 
Jonathan Rodwell - National Director

jrJonathan and Kate have been married for 21 years and have 3 sons, Andrew, Peter and Nicholas.  They live in Melbourne where they both work in OM ’s national office in Box Hill.

Prior to taking up the role as leaders of OM’s work in Australia, the Rodwells served on board the Logos II for three years where Jonathan was responsible for the public ministry of the ship and Kate was the journalist and a frequent speaker at conferences.

Before joining OM, Jonathan and Kate owned their own businesses based in Sydney.

Their current roles see them responsible for the overall leadership of OM Australia.  This involves representing OM Australia both internationally and interstate, oversight of the national office and the care of more than 150 Australians serving around the world with OM.

 
Murray Crabb - Treasurer

murray.jpgMurray Crabb has had extensive experience as a chartered accountant.  For over 30 years he was in public practice, mainly in the small business area.  In addition to this, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in ministry and a graduate diploma in intercultural studies. Currently a semi-retired chartered accountant.

Murray serves OM Australia as the Board Treasurer. Murray is married to Diane and they live in Melbourne.

 
Rodney Hills - Secretary

rod.jpg Rod is an experience property developer who has operated in Australia, the USA and the UK.

Rod commenced his career with a Honours degree in Building Surveying at the University of New South Wales and became a Registered Surveyor in 1980.  He is currently a Partner and Development Director for the Property Development Corporation Pty Ltd, in Sydney, a company which project manages and constructs residential, commercial, industrial and hotel complexes.  Along with this, Rod is a Partner and Chairman for Realty Marketing Pty Ltd, Sydney.

Previously, from 1987 – 1991, Rod held the position of Executive Vice President for Citistate  Limited, his main responsibility being to set up the international development arm of the company in the USA and UK.  Rod is a Licensed Strata and Community Manager and a Justice of the Peace.  He is a Director of Habitat Australia Ltd.

Rod is married to Roslyn and has two daughters.

 
Kelli Stallard

kelli_stellard.jpgKelli was admitted to practice law in 1985. Since 1991 Kelli has been a Partner in the national law firm Dibbs Abbott Stillman practising in the area of insurance and government services. In her role as Partner she has held various executive management positions in this firm. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts.

Kelli has extensive experience as a member of various government, legal, Christian and insurance industry boards and committees. Kelli is presently chairman of Peer Power Limited, a Christian organisation working with youth. Kelli is also chairman of the working committee of the Queensland Gift Foundation Baptist Union. Kelli is a long standing member of the Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Board, the peak advisory board to the Queensland Minister on Workplace Health and Safety issues.  She has been a regular presenter on legal insurance issues including a period of lecturing at the lecturing at Queensland University of Technology on legal and insurance issues.

Kelli is married to John Zellner, an Aeronautical Research Engineer based in Los Angeles. Both Kelli and John spend time visiting each other in Australia and The United States of America.

Kelli is a member of the Ashgrove Baptist Church and attends the Rolling Covenant Church when in the United States of America.

 
Michelle Enright

michelle.jpgMichelle brings a variety of training and experience to the OM Board. Her church ministry has included youth leadership, small group leadership and playgroup development for outreach. Past involvement with YWAM includes outreach trips to Vanuatu, New Zealand and Korea. In 1990 she achieved a General Studies Award at the Bible College of Queensland and in 2002 she obtained a Diploma of Christian Counselling and Family Therapy and the Australian Institute of Family Counselling.

From 1999 – 2002 she served as a school council Board member and during 2002 - 2003 held the position of Parenting Course Facilitator, both at St John’s Lutheran School, Jindera (Vic). She currently serves as a volunteer counsellor at Rural Carelink, Jindera.

Michelle is married to Mark and they have four children aged from 9-16 years.

 
Rob Koch

rob.jpgRob completed his Graduate of Theology (Hons) during his 15 years as a Baptist minister in Queensland. Since moving to Melbourne in 2000 he has been ‘a minister in the marketplace’ working for the welfare of families through a secular agency. For the last three years Rob has been in a unique community development position within local government as the Men’s Programs Officer in Victoria’s largest municipality, developing parenting programs and supports for men.

He is married to Karen and has a son Ryan and a daughter Bethany who are all involved in a thriving Assemblies of God Church in Berwick called ‘The Winepress’

Rob describes his life objective as, “My passion is the personal development of others.  I thrive in a team and an organisation that sees their community as it could be, not just as it is now.  Equipping people to thrive in their world, not just survive, is my life’s work.”

 
Michael Newton-Brown

michael_n-b.jpgMichael’s training includes a Diploma in Ministry, obtained in 1986, at Wesley Institute, Sydney.  He also holds a Master of Arts in Social Science, with an emphasis on leadership studies, obtained in 1995.

Michael has had a wide range of work experience, including Director and Manager Marketing Services at Wesley Mission, Sydney, from 1991-93.  From 1994-98, he spent time working with the delivery of social services in Africa, working as Operations Manager and then Projects Director for ACROSS (Association of Christian Resource Organisations Serving Sudan), based in Nairobi , Kenya. Following these positions, Michael worked for World Concern as Regional Program Development Officer, also based in Nairobi .

Michael is currently Director of Jackson Leather Co Pty Ltd and Director of The Leisure Shoe Co Pty Ltd, a retail footwear business.  Michael is a visionary with entrepreneurial and marketing skills who says he believes in modelling servant leadership.

Michael is Married to Liz and they have three children.

 
William Saxton

william.jpgWilliam was born and raised in Sydney and has been married to Diana for 21 years.  They have three children (Adelaide, Hannah and Jonathon).

With over 21 years in FMCG marketing and sales, he has held the full breadth of marketing roles within large global multi-nationals both in Australia and around the world. William has just begun his own company, T-garage.

 
Carey Hauri
Carey HauriAfter graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism, Carey worked on and off as a journalist for more than 15 years, much of that time based overseas with OM. Carey has been involved with OM since her first short-term outreach to former Eastern Europe in 1988, and was based overseas for a total of ten years (Hungary, Doulos, Spain/North Africa), working mainly in a Communications/PR role. Carey is passionate about seeing people become all that God created them to be and live their lives to the full, and it was this passion that led her back to Australia in 2004. Within six months, Carey had completed a Certificate IV in Life Coaching with the Life Coaching Institute of Australia and another in Business (Small Business Management). Carey lives in Adelaide where she now has her own life coaching practice, specialising in helping people to find and fulfil their God-given purpose, potential, goals and dreams. She is also writing her first book, "Leadership Salsa".  Carey brings to the OM Australia Board 20 years of rich and varied OM experience, as well as her expertise as a life coach, mentor and trainer.
